Confusion will harm your book

So, you’ve had the spark of an idea for a great book.

How’s it going?

It’s a long haul, writing a book. You don’t sit down and write until you get to the end.

We write, each day and every day when we are clear about what we are doing.

When we are confused, we stand still.

Two tips to get clear:

  1. What sort of book is it? Will it reveal truth through story? Fiction. Share your experience or knowledge? Nonfiction.
  2. Write down your reasons for writing it.

Sense-check them.

Go deeper.

And again.

You’ll get clear.
