A Word From The Author

Hello! I’m Ruth. I’ve been writing and publishing books since 2018 and I’ve been a solicitor in London for an awful lot longer than that. It struck me that although there is a lot of law that writers and book professionals in the UK need to know, there was no one book that brings together most of the things they need to know all in one place. That’s why I wrote Book Law.

What Readers Are Saying

Sed ut perspiciatis unde omnis iste natus error sit voluptatem accu santium doloremque lauda ntium.

I’ve found it really useful and interesting – and it’s blessedly layperson-friendly too. All legal jargon is clearly explained – it feels like you’re having a cup of tea with Ruth as she helps you to understand what to do and why to stay on the right side of the law in our work.
