Are you wondering if your book idea really is strong enough?

Could it really become a book?

Get the video, grab a pen and a coffee and start watching!

I walk you through five questions I ask writers when we start coaching.

Why spend the time?

This isn’t just another freebie.

This is an integral part of my coaching process.

I show you how to organise your answers so that when you finish, you’ll find you’ve laid the deepest foundation of the submission you might make, one day, to publishers.

Build your argument to persuade a publisher or a reader to buy your book.

I’ll help you to probe why you are writing this book. It’s no good just feeling, in your gut, a deep need to write your book.

You have to find the words to explain to a publisher, or a reader, why it’s worth reading.

Often, that depends on why you are writing it. We spend some time on your first flash of inspiration.

Then I help you to think about what unique thing your book brings to the bookshelf of books like yours.

And I will help you get to the root of exactly who wants to read your book and so, you’ll know where to find your readers.

You’ll find out how to describe your book in a way that will attract your readers.

That’s the start of your marketing plan.

When you work on your answers to the five questions, you’re helping yourself to get a lot clearer on your book idea.

And in the process, you’ll have begun a five-part plan.

A confused mind doesn’t move forward.

You want to know what you mean to write before committing a lot of time to it.

You don’t want to find you have a dud on your hands.

Answering these questions will bring you clarity.

I can’t coach you by video but I can talk you through five essential questions.

Coaching is more about Asking and Listening, than it is about me Talking.

Sure, I have plenty of industry knowledge you can tap into.

And as a lawyer of thirty years standing, I’m used to offering strategic advice when I’m asked for it.

But when I coach you through writing a book, I’m not training you to adopt a fixed process.

My coaching entails giving you the space to find your true answers to the questions I ask you.

We can make a good start in this video: I walk you through the five questions you need to know the answers to, your answers, before you can move forward with your book.

Once you’ve answered, you have taken the first step in doing solid work to get clear on your book.
