The mindset of writers I work with
Writers who work with me operate in many different fields – historians, social geographers and memoirists. IT engineers, managers of huge projects, and financiers. Entrepreneurs, professors, policy setters and corporate leaders.
And in every case, my clients are writers who bring an explorer’s frame of mind to their writing.
They know that writing a book is like setting off on a journey: you need an open mind, a map and a compass.
They understand the value of seeking out a guide to navigate tricky passages in their book journey.
I especially love to work with writers who bring travel into their writing: actual journeys written in clear, heart-felt prose; stories that draw on culture, history and geography; voyages, real and imagined, written for the armchair traveller.
I only work with writers who seek to bring a deeper understanding of the real world around us through their books.
Your writing might be whimsical and imaginative (I love to work with writers of creative nonfiction) and you probably bring a strong sense of humour to your work. But, just so we are clear, I am not the coach for writers of books dealing with spiritual, occult or religious themes.
